(I) Winter tires should be removed and replaced with all-season radials. These should be rotated to increase their longevity or they can be replaced with new ones altogether.
(II) Look out for unusual sounds when you apply the brakes, for example, excessive screeching or squealing. Have them checked out by a mechanic.
(III) Replace worn out wiper blades. These are usually very useful in the rainy period but may have been worn out during the difficult winter months. You may not notice the wear and tear until you are actually faced with rainy weather again in the spring, resulting in poor visibility.
(IV) Clean the underbody of the car to eliminate any salt that may have accumulated beneath the car. This may result in rusting if left unchecked.

(X) Wash the car and use a wax to protect its shine for the spring.
