In the first part of this two part article, I wrote about overcoming hindrances to hearing God’s voice by drawing near to God in an approach based off of the tabernacle experience.

1. Enter through the gates with Thanksgiving, clothing ourselves with Christ’s righteousness.

2. Offer our lives as a living sacrifice.

3. Look intently upon the Word and cleanse our lives in Bible meditation.

4. Fellowship with Others and let our will submit to God’s will.

5. Examine the Word under the illumination of the Holy Spirit finding revelation and knowledge and transforming our lives.

6. Offer continual praise.

Now we are ready to ascend directly into His manifest presence, fixing our gaze upon His glory and speaking face-to-face and mouth-to-mouth with the Most High God. (Heb. 10:19,20). When storms and gales hinder our access before the King of Kings, we can go back and re-walk the path which He has prepared for us.

You can find the first part of this article at:

http://www.cluonline.com/blockstoheargodsvoice.htm

Usually, I find that if I walk through the tabernacle experience, any block I may have as I approach God in prayer is erased. If not, God has provided a fine-tuning dial in Hebrews 10:22:

"Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water."

In this verse are found four more keys for removing blocks to effectively hearing the Master’s voice:

1. Have a Sincere Heart:

The first key is that we must have a sincere heart. There can be no hypocrisy, no double-mindedness, no halfheartedness. Only total, pure, childlike dedication to the desires and purposes of Almighty God.

2. Have Full Assurance of Faith:

Secondly, we must have a full assurance of faith. In other words, we cannot doubt that there is a river flowing within us. (Jn. 7:38,39) Therefore, we must believe that He is a Rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him, and receive in faith that which is flowing within us, trusting that indeed it is the Spirit of Almighty God (Heb. 11:6).

3. Clean Our Hearts of Sin:

Thirdly, we must have our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience. If there is sin, it must be brought before the cleansing flow of Christ’s blood and removed as far as the east is from the west (Ps. 103:12). Then it must be forgotten, as all of our attention is turned upon our Maker.

4. Be Cleansed With the Word:

Finally, we must be cleansed with the washing of water of the rhema word, or the voice of God (Eph. 5:26). Those things which God is speaking to us must be acted upon and obeyed, or our ability to go on with God is destroyed.

When I come before God in prayer, I begin by quieting myself in His presence. I use the eyes of my heart to see Him present with me. I tune to the inner river (i.e. spontaneous flow), and I begin writing down and recording the flow that is welling up within me. (See this pattern in Hab. 2:1,2.) If I am stuck and some block seems to be hindering my ability to hear God’s voice and see His vision, I review the above questions concerning living the tabernacle experience. Often as I go through this checklist, I identify the block and remove it. If the block still remains, I ask myself the four questions found in Hebrews 10:22 – Is my heart sincere, honest, and committed? Am I free of reservations as I approach God? Do I have a full assurance of faith that He is within me and welling up through my spirit (which is joined to His Spirit – I Cor. 6:17)? In addition, I must ask whether I have been obedient to the previous words which God has spoken to me.

These two patterns, the tabernacle experience, and the fine-tuning dial of Hebrews 10:22, (when coupled with the example of Hab. 2:1,2) offer ready access for most of us almost all of the time, so we can readily hear God’s voice within our spirits, and write down the spontaneous flow of thoughts, visions and feelings which bubble up within us as we seek the face of God. Thus, we find that many of the most common blocks and problems to hearing the voice of God are removed as we follow these biblical patterns.

Once we begin recording the things we sense God speaking to us, we may still find errors, or "supposed errors," in our journals. This can come from many things. I will list very briefly only a few of the most common situations.

One problem is that when we pray, we often fix our eyes on the thing we are praying about, rather than on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Therefore, the answer comes back from the thing, rather than from our Lord. The solution to this problem is to be very careful to fix our eyes on Jesus (Heb. 12:2), rather than on any thing, or person, or issue. If we are bringing a person or issue to God in prayer, then we should actually see ourselves presenting this before Him and watch what He does or says concerning it. Then the spontaneous flow will be more pure.

Positioning

A second issue is that some of God’s commands are simply positioning moves and are never meant to be fully carried out. Instead, God re-directs us in midstream. An example of this may be seen in Genesis 22, when God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son. However, as Abraham began to act in obedience to this order, God changed it, telling him not to sacrifice his son. Now, was Abraham’s first word from the Lord wrong? No, God was simply positioning Abraham in order to fulfill one of God’s goals for his life. Once the test was completed, God discontinued the action midstream with new orders. I find this happens often in my journal. Many orders are simply positioning moves, both for me and for others.

A third, and final, problem which we will discuss is the problem of improper interpretation. It is very easy to interpret the words of your journal to say what you think they mean, rather than simply seeing them for what they are. Often, as I have gone back to my journal, thinking my journaling had been wrong, I have been amazed to see that the actual words of the journaling were fulfilled. It was my inner interpretation of these words that was not correct. Let us be careful to hear that which the Lord is speaking.

The tarot deck consisting of 78 cards can be broken down into 3 categories. The 22 major arcana cards, the 40 minor arcana cards, and the 16 court cards make up these categories. In addition the minor arcana and court cards are further separated into 4 suits namely wands, cups, pentacles, and swords.

The 22 cards of the major arcana can be defined as "big secrets". As this name implies global questions and answers can be expected during a tarot reading solely using these cards, in a tarot spread. The major arcana often define the character, mental state, and other vital attributes of the querent (the person asking the question). Almost any question posed to a spread composed of the major arcana can be answered. This segment of the tarot deck starts its journey with the number zero which is the fool card and ends with the number 21 the world card.

The 40 cards of the minor arcana may be interpreted as meaning "little secrets". As you may expect and the name implies the minor arcana shows specific directions in our personal lives. These cards often explain specific relationships at home at work, or at school. Any tarot reading using a deck comprised solely of these cards should produce very specific results regarding the querent’s query

The court cards are the royalty of the tarot deck. These 16 cards are Comprised of Kings, Queens, Pages, and Knights. These cards often represent immediate environmental influences. An example of these influences may include immediate family, friends, lovers, and coworkers. These cards may be symbolic of imagery present in the querent’s mind.

Kings generally signify a male of 36 or older possibly a fatherly figure with authority, wisdom and experience. Queens also generally represent a female 36 or older with matriarchal aspects of authority, nurturing, understanding, compassion, and maturity. Knights are the messengers of the tarot deck and generally range in age from the mid twenties to the mid thirties. Knights may be male or female conveying a positive message when right side up and a negative message when reversed. Pages usually represent children and naivete. They have various meanings typically representing messengers, schoolchildren, young adults, or assorted issues related to the inexperience of youth.

The 4 suits of the tarot deck are wands, cups, pentacles, and swords. These suits correspond to various aspects of our lives. For example the suit of wands often correspond to work or social activities. Further more, the suit of cups usually corresponds to love or emotional matters. The suit of pentacles generally refers to money matters or health problems. Lastly, the suit of swords signifies problems or troubles the querent may be facing.

The 4 suits of the Tarot deck also have other notable attributes. For example the suit of wands corresponds to the element of fire and the astrological signs of Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. The suit of cups corresponds to the element of water and the zodiacal signs Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. The suit of pentacles embodies the element of earth and corresponds to the sun signs of Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. The suit of swords forms a relationship with the element of air corresponding to the astrological signs of Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius.

Performing your own tarot readings and trying various tarot reading systems often helps in memorizing the meanings of the cards, in various tarot spreads. Don’t feel overwhelmed and remember practice makes perfect. I hope this basic introduction to the tarot deck helps bring the rewarding experience of tarot reading into your life.

Krishna’s Body is Spiritual. Krishna is non-different from His body. His body is eternal, full of bliss, and knowledge. He never changes His body, but in His selfsame body appears in different ways, according to His desires, in His various incarnations .This is the same as a dramatic artist who can expertly assume different roles according to the scripts which he is called upon to perform. It is stated in the Vedic literatures, that when we see God in His original manifestation, He is known as Krishna–the all attractive Personality of Godhead.

In His various manifestations in this world, Krishna establishes religious principles; annihilates miscreants, and helps His devotees. At the same time, He exhibits these activities to attract people who have no information about God other than their faulty speculation or the speculations of others such as theologians. When people see or hear about Krishna’s wonderful activities, they become attracted to Him, and become interested in spiritual life.

Krishna also enjoys acting in many different ways. God is not impersonal. He has desires like ourselves, but His desires are not fraught with the impurities that contaminate ours. He enjoys dancing, playing, singing, fighting, and all the activities that we can imagine.

In the spiritual world these activities are constantly going on. This is the destination of the pure devotees of the Lord: to interact with the Lord in His eternal pastimes.

1. Brahma-samhita 5.1
2. Bhagavad-gita 4.6

No Loss of Diminution. All material accomplishments are finished at the time of death. "You can’t take it with you." The pharaohs in Egypt were buried with their worldly belongings (including their wives and servants); yet thousands of years later their bodies were dug up and all the worldly belongings were still there (unless grave robbers had taken them). We come into this world naked and leave in the same way, regardless of what we have acquired in this lifetime: prestige, money, family, education, etc.

Devotional service performed in this lifetime is never lost. If one becomes 1 percent Krishna conscious in this lifetime, he will take up devotional service from this point in the next. Krishna informs us that in Krishna consciousness there is no loss or diminution, and that a little Krishna consciousness will protect one from the most dangerous situation–losing the facility of having a human body in the next life.

A devotee who leaves his body after a little devotional service goes to the heavenly planets, and thereafter takes birth in a well-to-do family. During this birth he gets further opportunities to progress in devotional service.

A devotee who leaves his body after a great deal of devotional service takes birth in a family of transcendentalists where he is immediately engaged in devotional service and is able to perfect his Krishna consciousness.

Of course, a devotee who leaves this world after perfecting his devotional service, never comes back to this world again, but attains Krishna’s eternal abode, Goloka Vrindavana.

March 29, 2010 marks the beginning of Passover. If you are Jewish, it is week when family and community come together to celebrate the Exodus. The hallmark of this observance is the removal of all leaven from the home, which commemorates the fact that the Jews leaving Egypt were in a hurry, and did not have time to let their bread rise. It is also a symbolic way to remove the "puffiness," or arrogance and pride, from the soul.

The preparation of the home for Passover is no small undertaking. Leaven includes anything made from the five major grains (wheat, rye, barely, oats, and spelt) that has not been completely cooked within 18 minutes after coming into contact with water. So to prepare correctly, the kitchen must be prepared for several weeks. Counters need to be scrubbed down, stovetops and refrigerators need to be wiped clean, and shelf-liners should be cleansed. Whew!

The good news is you can get the house prepared without losing your mind completely, even if you work full-time. The secret: break big tasks down into smaller 5 or 10-minute increments and enlist the help of others. The five pointers below will help you get started. And even if you’re not Jewish, but are on the lookout for smart ways to get a head start on your spring cleaning, the tips below are useful.

1. Commercially Clean. Every time you watch TV this week, use the two-minute commercial breaks to make a little headway on kitchen cleanup. Arm everyone who is watching TV with a sponge. At the start of every commercial break, head into the kitchen and scrub one thing. By the end of the evening, you should be in much better shape than you started – and you got to enjoy your shows!

2. Break the Task Down. Any large project, when viewed head-on is daunting and lead to feelings of inertia (where do I get started?). Rather than thinking about "getting the house ready for Passover," break it down into smaller, bite-sized tasks. It’s easier to see how you can give the counters a good scrub, and therefore easier to get started. Stack up enough small tasks, and lo and behold, you’ll have completed the big project.

3. Eat it Up. Passover this year starts at sunset on March 29th. A great way to make sure the cleaning out of all the food in the house is a simple process is to eat up what is in the house during the weeks leading up to the holiday. Not just the bread, cookies, and crackers, but also use this as a time to eat up leftovers in the refrigerator and freezer so that there will be more room for the dishes you will be cooking.

4. Forced Spring Cleaning. It is great to extend Passover beyond just the food in the kitchen. Consider this your opportunity to do a spring clean in the kitchen and maybe even the dining room areas. Think about how you can simplify along with organize and items. Anything you have not used in over a year, like the lemon zester or apple corer, but is still functional consider donating to soup kitchen.

5. Simplify After the Holiday. Once Passover has passed and you are back to doing your regular grocery shopping again, streamline the items you stock in your kitchen. Do you need three different salad dressings? Is it really important to have five different shapes of pasta in your pantry? Make a few changes to simplify now and this time next year you’ll have a lot less to go through.

Church chairs have come a long way since the hard wooden pews of the old days. . . and even longer since the unattractive, backache-inducing chairs that you remember from Sunday school. The modern church chair industry is proving that church chairs can be comfortable, beautiful, durable, and affordable.

Though the beauty of a lacquered hardwood chair is undeniable, modern times require that church congregations be flexible and economical as they outfit their spaces. Nowadays, a church space is constantly evolving. It houses musicals, theater performances, and meetings as well as worship. Because of this, a quality church chair should be lightweight, store easily, and hold up to consistent use.

Movable church chairs come in one of two main categories: stacking or folding. Wooden stacking chairs are more attractive, but are generally quite a bit more expensive. They usually cost $100 or more. Metal, upholstered stacking chairs are more affordable, commonly selling for $25-$50.

Price

The most affordable option for churches is the metal folding chair, which typically costs $15-20. Metal chairs are less costly than wood, and they’re also much lighter. A quality metal chair is built with 16-gauge steel and finished with plating or epoxy to keep rust at bay. It’s important to consider the strength of a chair’s frame. Stacking chairs puts them under a lot of pressure, and a weak chair will start to break or bend out of shape.

Comfort

But cost and durability aren’t the only important concerns. What about comfort? We all have stories about the agony induced by hours spent in terribly uncomfortable church pews or chairs. Advances in chair design have made it possible worship in comfort. Wider chairs, for instance, tend to be much more comfortable. Generally, 20- or 21-inch wide chairs are far more accommodating than 18-inch chairs. The pitch of a chair back is another important consideration. Different pitches help people in locations throughout the sanctuary feel comfortable. Special chairs built for choir or orchestra members are also available.

Style

Church chairs are available in a wide array of colors and fabrics. Manufacturers take custom orders, and will even match upholstery to the color of your church. Chair upholstery comes in varying levels of quality depending on the price. It’s important to be thrifty when choosing your chairs, but remember that cheap fabric will wear out much faster than higher-end fabric.

Options

Today’s best church chairs come with several possible add-ons. Ganging devices, book racks, and armrests are all available. Ganging chairs have special brackets on either side that allow them to hook together and form rows, which can be very convenient when you are setting up for weddings or other events.

Smoking Salvia is quite different then smoking lets say a cigarette or joint. Smoking salvia is legal everywhere that smoking tobacco is legal. The process of smoking salvia is quite different to the usual preferred method of smoking other herbs. While it is true that you can’t really compare them because they have such different actions (neurobiological as well as subjectively), I’d say smoking salvia is more intense than eating LSD (unless you take a ridiculous dose of acid).

Effects vary by dose and method of use. Salvia effects range from mild effects on up to a full out of body experience. As you begin with smaller amounts, be patient and avoid getting anxious and using more since the initial effects can be gradual. The reason a water bong is the preferred method is that effects are usually easier achieved if you manage to inhale and hold down a large amount of smoke. It is best to stop using the lighter once the effects start to come on as sometimes you may not be aware of your own actions and this could result in unnecessary accidents occurring.

Smoking salvia divinorum can be a fun experience but being prepared is in your best interest because it can be an amazing experience to say the least. Smoking salvia produces two different effects on people that include an out of body experience where you are totally lost, or a lighter feeling such as being high. Those who smoke large amounts or highly potent salvia have experienced moments when they have talked to people as if they were foreign objects, or feel as if time itself has stopped.

It is best to try small doses with the help of somebody who has experience with salvia and can help you when you use it. Stronger forms of salvia should only be used if you have some experience and know how sensitive you are. The other key element is to relax with closed eyes and the right music and learn how to meet the experience half way. The music is important because sounds will fuel the visual hallucinations. Then again though, good music in general does really take you somewhere else.

The claim that "young people are dying" from salvia is not backed up by empirical evidence, and, oddly enough, is contradicted by the actual text of AB 259 itself, which states that "medical experts and accident and emergency rooms have not reported any particular health concerns" about the drug. The fact that Salvia has never been shown to have adverse effects on health or society as a whole could easily take a back seat to the notion of red-blooded Americans hallucinating in their own backyards.

These facts are that Salvia is not known to be addictive, when used in proper dosages there are not any adverse side effects, smoking Salvia is not anymore damaging to your lungs then smoking cigarettes, and, when taken properly (not driving or handling sharp objects while using it) Salvia is not known to be harmful to ones health.

The trouble in the Middle East is in the news again and with it all the fresh speculation and rhetoric about why it is happening. Some say it is over the land, others say it is the oil, others say it is religion. The fact of the matter is that the entire situation in the Middle East and the differences between Israel and the Muslim nations goes back thousands of years to two brothers, one names Isaac and one named Ishmael.

The story goes like this, Abraham and his wife Sarah wanted a child all their lives and as they were getting very old with he being 86 and Sarah at 76 and felt God wasn’t going to keep the promise to them, Abraham slept with Sarah’s servant Hagar by arrangement from Sarah and a child by the name of Ishmael was born from this. God promised Abraham that he would establish a covenant with Isaac’s descendants.

According to the Old Testament, in Genesis God told Hagar that Ishmael would be a wild man with his hand against every man and every man’s hand against him. At a feast to celebrate the weaning of Isaac from his mother Sarah, some fourteen years later, Ishmael began to show the nature God said he would by mocking and making fun of his little half brother. By this time, Sarah had already been disgusted with them for some time and she demanded that Abraham throw them out of the household saying that the son of a slave would not be an heir with her son, Isaac. Abraham was against this because he loved Ishmael even though he was an incredible pain to say the least.

God settled the argument by telling Abraham that he was to do as Sarah said and that he would also make a nation from the seed of Ishmael as well, but it would be through Isaac that his descendants, the Jews would be named.

So, Hagar and Ishmael were sent away just as God commanded but He kept His word regarding them as well. It is stated in Genesis 21 that God was with him and that as he grew in the wilderness he became an expert with a bow and that his mother brought him a wife from Egypt.

So why all the fighting? The Arab nations, descendants of Ishmael have way more land than does Israel, but for them it all goes back to the birthright. They still feel that Ishmael was the first born child of Abraham and that as such they are entitled to everything.

Imagine for a moment your perfect day. You wake up feeling peace and joy in eager anticipation of all the wonders you know you are going to experience. Every situation you encounter is amazingly synchronistic, perfectly aligning you with your desires. Every person in your life supports you with unconditional love and acceptance. Problems are just minor speed bumps that you easily navigate over while you smile and look ahead at all the wonders that life offers you. You retire for the day knowing that you have served the greater good and the world is elevated because of you.

This may sound a bit like a fantasy world but it is entirely possible when you live your life from the perspective of your Expanded Self. Your Expanded Self is that part of you that is exquisitely linked with everyone and everything in the Universe. When you are fully connected with your Expanded Self, all aspects of your being, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual, are perfectly aligned and vibrating with peace, love, joy and bliss.

Your Expanded Self is always available, quietly waiting for you to come into the center of your being and claim your power. Here are 10 simple, easy and fun ways to connect with your expanded self:

Breathe: A simple, easy breath is usually all it takes to fully connect with your Expanded Self. Wherever you are right now, take a gentle, deep breath right now. Feel your body move in perfect rhythm as you breathe. Sigh with pleasure! Connect! Be your Expanded Self!

Listen to the sounds of Nature: Go outside, close your eyes and notice the sounds of Nature all around you. Listen to the delightful sound of the wind rustling leaves, birds singing their songs, insects purposefully moving about their business. Know that you too are a part of Nature, connected to all that is.

Put on your favorite music: Music naturally and automatically connects you to your Expanded Self. Turn on your favorite music and breathe for pleasure for an added boost to your vibration.

Laugh: Laughing automatically raises your vibration, increases your joy and empowers you to live your life fully and completely.

Watch the clouds: Go outside and gaze at the sky. Watch the clouds drift, expand and change color. In this moment connect with your Expanded Self and know that you are as expansive as the clouds.

Move your body with child-like abandonment: Remember skipping across the playground, without a care in the world? Or skipping rocks across a lake just for the joy of the ripples in the water? How about spinning in circles with your arms outstretched until you fall to the ground dizzy with pleasure? Play, laugh, delight in the pleasure of being your Expanded Self.

Ask Your Expand Self an empowering question: Open ended questions automatically engage our expanded self and stimulate creativity. What is the best solution right now? Who do I know that can support me in this situation? How can I enjoy my life even more fully? Enjoy your new found freedom as you actively engage your Expanded Self with empowering questions.

Schedule silent time: Silence is the realm of the Expanded Self. Dive into the silence and allow your worries to dissolve away.

Say "Yes": Say "Yes" out loud. Feel the expansion in your body. Feel your vibration instantly rise. What can you say "Yes" to today? Say it often.

Daydream for pleasure: Allow you creativity to soar as you daydream for pleasure. Are you riding a beautiful, white horse across a sandy beach? Perhaps you are meandering among the brilliant flowers of an exquisite garden. Maybe you are receiving an award and basking in the pleasure of thunderous applause. All your Expanded Self to guide you among the wonders and excitement of your daydreams because you deserve it.

These are just a few examples of the many ways you can connect to the expansive, loving, Divine presence of your Expanded Self. Thrive in exciting new ways as you live your life more fully, joyfully, and easily as your expanded self.

I have read a lot of books on self help, success, and other topics related to personal growth. It wasn’t until I read "The Science of Getting Rich" that all I had read really started to make sense.

Although Rhonda Byrne, the author of "The Secret" says that "The Science of Getting Rich" is was one of the books she was influenced by, she missed some crucial points about what Wallace Wattles had to say.

1. The Science of Getting Rich is practical.

It’s not about thinking positive thoughts, and it doesn’t matter if you are a positive person or a negative person. This book is about getting rich first. It’s about following specific principles. It’s not about dealing with your baggage or changing your mindset in a way that you become a more positive person.

2. This is not a study of metaphysics, and you don’t need to know how it works to make it work.

It’s like using a computer. You learn how to use a computer, but you don’t have to know what hardware or software is in order to make it work. You also don’t need to know the internal workings of a computer to learn how to operate your computer.

3. Faith is a crucial part of the process.

The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

In order to make the "Science of Getting Rich" work, we first have to have faith. We have to believe something is true before seeing it come true. God won’t violate our free will. If we don’t believe, if we don’t have faith first, then what we want can’t become a reality.

This goes against conventional wisdom which says "seeing is believiing." Wattles says you must first see it in your mind before you see it in reality.

4. To understand the underlying philosophy of the "Science of Getting Rich" you may read the writers he recommends.

Although Wattles doesn’t mention it, Wattles was a minister. He was Christian. He studied philosophy, as well as the Hindu religion. Wattles doesn’t say that much of the universal human truth outlined in his book is in the Bible.

What he does say is that you don’t have to study philosophy or Hinduism and its influence on Western culture in order to understand what he is trying to say.

5. It’s more important to read "The Science of Getting Rich" than to read the philosophy behind it.

Although reading the philosophy will help you understand how Wattles arrived at his conclusions, doing what the book tells you to do is the real secret to finding true riches in life.

Wattles approaches riches from the point of view of the mind, body, and spirit. We must satisfy all three areas of our lives to enjoy the riches we attain. If any area of our lives is out of balance, it will affect our happiness and create obstacles to our enjoyment of life.

6. The "Science of Getting Rich" is scientific not metaphysical.

I mentioned metaphysics earlier. Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy that examines the nature of reality. Wattles isn’t concerned with this. Wattles is concerned with how the rules of the universe operate and how to use those rules to become rich.

Whereas metaphysics deals with theories about reality, the rules of the universe have been tested and are a fact. This brings Wattles into the realm of science, with proven rules and processes that work. By applying these rules and processes to our lives, we achieve measurable results.

7. Action is crucial to success.

If you don’t take action, nothing will happen. Wattles says to read the book and do exactly what it tells you to do. Ultimately, this book becomes a blueprint for achieving what you want.

The eleventh sign of the zodiac is Aquarius. Those born between the dates of January 21st and February 19th bear this sun sign. It is symbolized by the Water Bearer whose equally weighted scales speak to the Aquarian love of balance and equality. Famous people who have this sign include John Travolta, Vanessa Redgrave and Joanne Woodward.

Aquarius people tend to be originally eccentric. They are strong thinkers and especially skilled at problem solving. Their approach to solutions may seem wild and radical, but when it works they are often seen as being a progressive mind. There is a rebellious nature here and a tendency to be outspoken.

Despite this rebel nature, they actually do make team players if they are given room to move around. They respect the ideas of others and are able to see (and separate) the greater good from personal agendas. Organized, critical and somewhat demanding they also make great team leaders. The Aquarius person will put more of their emotional self into their work than they do relationships.

They respond well to change and deal well with unexpected things that pop up along the way. Others peg them as unusual and they don’t mind. They don’t like routine but are the perfect person to find a new and better way of doing things. Issues like freedom, equality and fairness are important to them. Because of this, a progressive streak permeates their life. Although they may be involved in many humanitarian efforts, it is a detached, practical involvement rather than an emotional plea.

Aquarians care very deeply about their friends and are great at attracting them. They create a social circle filled with those that have common interests and ideas, relationships built on mental connections. They are not as skilled at forming romantic relationships due to their tendency to seem emotionally distant. There is also a fear of losing their independence.

Aquarians really have no aptitude for the games that are associated with dating. They like the truth and if they say something, they mean it. Self disciplined and true to their word, they can be devoted. But if they haven’t yet said they will be faithful, they consider the field to be fair game. They have trouble understanding some of the more irrational emotions associated with love- like jealousy. There are too many problems in the world for the Aquarian to have time to deal with such petty things. If they become part of a relationship that is built on a mental connection, respect, friendship and honest communication they will be capable of great self sacrifice on behalf of the relationship.

The Aquarian mind is clear, logical and practical. This is not a person who will make a dramatic scene or a bold emotional display. But their quest for fairness and equality makes them an excellent partner since they are always willing to meet someone half way. They have a genuine interest in other people and make a fantastic friend, even if they will need a little assistance in becoming a great partner.

Completely in tune with their changeable natures, Geminis are likely to fall in or out of love, suddenly, without any definite cause, especially during young adulthood. They are as confused about love as they are about life. It is difficult to take a Gemini lover seriously. However, pure Gemini personalities make reliable spouses and even if their affections go astray, it won’t last and they will return to their home and hearth before long.

A Gemini loves to wax eloquent about his love or affection for his partner which makes it even more difficult for the latter to trust because in most cases he is simply exaggerating or exercising his communication skills and his true feelings are not as ardent as his histrionics will make it appear. A Gemini is rather secretive and will never discuss his deepest emotions in public.

A Gemini lover is as airy and inconsistent in love as he is in other aspects of life. They tend to shy away from emotional commitments.A Grass is always greener on the other side is a saying that best describes a Gemini person. They are prone to divorce.

What Do They Expect from Their Partners?

Intelligent conversations stimulate and challenge a Gemini. Therefore the best way to his heart is through his head. A Gemini requires a tolerant, strong and steady partner who won’t bear a grudge against his partner’s fondness for lighthearted socializing and enjoyment and stay by his side even when the going is not good.

A compatible partner of a Gemini has to be open to experimentations with different kinds of relationship styles and be adventurous, exciting and articulate. A Gemini will run away from stolid or boring partners for he believes that variety is the spice of love life.

Compatibility with Various Sun-signs

Other air signs like Aquarius and Libra as well as Leo and Aries make perfect and ideal partners for Geminis because of their similar tastes and mutual understanding. If they can get over bedroom bickering, minor disputes or overcome differences related to sex life, they will be on a roll.

Marriage is certainly recommended and the union will be long, happy and stable. Pisces, Virgo , Capricorn, Taurus and Sagittarius should stay away from geminis and never contemplate marriage or long term relationships for it will be a disaster from the word go and bring unhappiness to both sides.

The initial sexual attraction between Scorpio and Gemini will fizzle out after sometime and marriage is possible, but it will require too much of an effort from both sides. A Gemini-Gemini combination will be exciting at first, but marriage will lead to catastrophe and chaos.

A match between cancer and Gemini is dangerous for the love games played by flirtatious Gemini will bring about sensitive cancer’s emotional ruin. Gemini will frustrate Virgo’s need for security and safety and will find Virgo dull and boring. Distrust and suspicion and temperamental differences will drive apart Gemini and Pisces.

Well I have been to many spooky places in my lifetime, from dark sewers to underground smugglers caves. When I visited Arundel in Sussex, in the UK I could tell there was something different. It was very dark when I arrived so I was feeling quite sleepy and just wanted to get my head down.

There has been many ghostly experiences in the little village of Arundel, all originating from the terrifying story that took place over 100 years ago. A girl and boy that were in love, the girl felt the love so strong but one day her partner decided that he no longer had the same feelings for the young women. She was devastated she didn’t know how she was going to go on, all her family and friends said that you will get over this in time, she knew she couldn’t, the tension just got too much that one night this young lady strolled down to the Arundel castle and climbed the tower and threw herself off. Sometimes fellow villagers say that if you go to the tower at around 10pm you can see her standing at the top looking for her love.

So as I do not believe in ghost and ghoul stories I planned an hour excursion in the closed tower on my own at 10pm. I have to say I was just feeling abit nervous as everywhere I went in the village people were saying to me "are you crazy?" please do not go up there alone. It was my decision I had to see what all the fuss was about, never mind that Arundel is considered one of the most haunted places in the world.

Well it came to around 9pm, I walked up the big hill to the castle, when I got there I was greeted by one of the 24 hour guards. I made my way in looking around the castle was a great experience it had an ore of untouched tradition about it. After strolling around I started making my way to the tower where the incident had occurred all so many years ago. While walking up the tower steps I could hear a sort of whisper he-hel-help, was it just my brain playing tricks with me? I got to the top with my beloved camera recording everything, I waited getting more and more anxious for the clock to strike 10, it then did I waited and waited and nothing happened, I put my camera around my neck and headed home what a waste of time.

The next morning I woke up and plugged my camera in the TV I wanted to watch and delete some parts, it came to the area where I was walking up the steps to the tower I was very excited because I wanted to see if I was just hearing things, the moment came and bang the camera went all fuzzy I fast forwarded and the image came back when I reached the bottom of the stairs. I was not imagining things it was her spirit controlling my camera, now I will always believe and remember Arundel is the scariest place in the world.

With Vedic Astrology, the symbols or signs of the Zodiac that an individual is born under are considered as characteristic traits of that individual. Many individuals will pick up the newspaper and read their daily horoscope, but few really understand the true meaning being of the zodiac symbol they were born under.

The eighth sign or symbol of the Zodiac is Scorpio the scorpion, which is a ground dweller containing a poisonous stinger on the tip of its tail. Another symbol for this, though not as popular, is the eagle, which is a predator that sees far away while soaring above troubles, hypothetically that is.

In Vedic Astrology the sun stands for an individual’s inner nature, character, and personality. If you are a Scorpio then the sun was under water when you were born. This means that you are considered to be a water sign. The Scorpio is feminine and is ruled by the fierce warrior planet, Mars and the dark planet of transformation, Pluto.

The personalities of individuals born under the sign of Scorpio normally show the characteristics of being a loyal and dedicated friend, a fierce competitor, strong, solid, carrying authority and great will, and being inquisitive. Scorpios are fascinated about how things work and how people work. They can be extremely manipulative when in the pursuit of attaining their goals. They like to be in control, and they have a great understanding of human emotions. Scorpios can learn to use their powers to help inspire others and their mental and physical powers of recuperation are simply remarkable. Scorpios are subject to fits of vindictive jealousy, so beware.

If Scorpios are determined to do something, then not much is going to stop them because they are very stubborn, resistant, and cannot stand changes. They may seem easy going, congenial, or gregarious on the surface, but they are actually tenacious with the need to either manipulate or control the situation and sometimes both.

Scorpios are very sensitive individuals having very deep feelings, who are passionate and emotional. They are strong willed and have the ability to get to the bottom of things and will not stop until they do. The emotions of a Scorpio motivates their behavior and reactions most of the time. Most of the time their emotions are prone to be worn on their shirt sleeve.

In relationships, Scorpios want to dominate, but will rarely let on about their true feelings even during the most open moments of communication. Scorpios do not mean to be mysterious, but they hate being double-crossed or manipulated, which would result in a reaction of sarcasm or vengeance.

Scorpios are prone to headaches, infections, fevers, and various illnesses of their private parts. These problems, however, will not keep you down for long, due to your stubbornness and your love of clandestine activities. Your colors are midnight blue, emerald green, black, and red. You rule metallic iron and you birthstone is topaz, which is one of the hardest minerals mined. The flowers of the Scorpio are the anemone, heather, and gardenia.

Scorpios tend to have a youthful appearance with fierce eyes, who love excitement. They have a generous disposition, but are fickle minded. Females tend to have masculine tendencies. They tend to become proficient in art, dance, music, and in philosophy. Scorpios are set in their ways and will uphold their own views, but they can be silent and dignified, until pushed. Being married to a Scorpio may not be the easiest thing in the world, because of their temperamental differences and generative illnesses that will affect one of you.

A breakthrough in our understanding of self comes when we learn to perceive as shamans do: not only with the mind, but also from an energetic standpoint. Through working directly with the life force, and with the four basic energies of air, fire, water, and earth, we reclaim the keys to healing and open ourselves to deep connection with all life.

These four interwoven elements manifest and sustain all creation. They are the core manifestations of our own life force. They offer a new framework to guide our travels back to our true, vital center. We can call on the four elements of air, fire, water, and earth not only as a means to perceive and make changes energetically, but as four aspects of the complete self: the mind, spirit, emotions and physical body.

Air symbolizes the mind. Our thoughts, words, visions, and mental creations are all aspects of the air energy within us.

Fire is our passion and desire, our will. Our sexuality, our sense of play and our action in the world are aspects of the fire energy.

Water represents the fluid, changing nature of our emotions. Our emotional body, sometimes like the gentlest of rain, other times like a wild storm, is one aspect of our water energy.

Earth is our physical self, the bones of flesh of our being. Our material structure and its intimate connection to the cycles of life and death is an aspect of the earth energy.

Embracing these four aspects of self allows us to reclaim our natural energy, and rebalance all parts of ourselves into a greater, complete whole. These elements are natural gateways to our own essence of truth. When we encompass all aspects of our self, we align ourselves once again to the pure joy of being alive. Using these four elemental cornerstones as a new foundation, we can reclaim our own essential being.

Reweaving the Self

To begin our journey of realignment, we need to first understand energetically how we went out of balance. From an energetic viewpoint, how did we lose our original vitality and centeredness?

I see humans as weavings of energy. When we are young, our energy is open and unstructured. As we grow, this free flowing energy begins to solidify with agreements and expectations of how we should be in the world. The people who are responsible for our safety and guidance educate us based on their own life experiences. We naturally learn the customs, beliefs, limitations, and expectations of the human society we were born into.

This structure is important for children. The difficulty comes if we become habituated to looking outside ourselves for answers and approval. As we learn to look outside, we often lose touch with our own center and our instinctual connection with Spirit. Over time, the opinions, agreements, love, and fears of those around us become threads in our weaving of self. We pull on these external threads and weave them into our own conscious and unconscious. Slowly we forget our own seed of truth and began to live from the beliefs and fears of others. We learn to seek approval, respect, recognition, love, and happiness outside of ourselves. We weave the fabric of our life believing that love comes to us from the outside. Where we once knew our own center of joy, we stretch the threads of our original fabric to reach out, attaching to others from a place of fear and a need to be filled.

Right now it is easy to see what your own internal structure is woven of. Imagine looking over the last week, the last month, or the last year. Were your thoughts and actions based out of trust in yourself and your own sense of connection to a greater source, or were they based out of fear? Do you compare yourself to others, believe you are not enough, or fear revealing your true self? Do you worry or doubt yourself? What percentage of the fabric of your being is woven in love, and what percentage is based in fear and scarcity?

Any belief or action based in fear pulls us out of our own center. When we are honest, we discover that the majority of our conscious and unconscious mind believes in scarcity and a need to get love or approval from the outside. We see that even the threads of connection that are based in love become contaminated by fear and grasping.

Making a commitment to seek your own center and innate power begins a journey of unraveling. When you take responsibility for your own weaving, you can take action to begin unweaving and reweaving the threads of our lives. You do not necessarily need to see the source of each thread in your fabric. By tracking your own behaviors, responses, and thoughts in the moment, you can see how the fabric is held together, and which threads need to be rewoven, removed or replaced.

Seeing ourselves as artists of this tapestry creates a perspective that is crucial for healing. Instead of looking at the fabric of our being as a horrible injustice or a tragedy, we can learn to witness the incredible creativity that went into our own becoming. Each individual is a complex and wonderful work of art. We are each unique. We took the raw materials around us and used them to the best of our ability. No one forced us to choose a particular thread, though the choices we were offered may have been incredibly limited.

When we become artists of our own lives, we learn that there are no wrong colors of thread, only choices. We gain a place of witness that allows us to observe, with compassion and love, our choices. Without judgment or feeling victimized by our choices or circumstances, we can watch how our actions create the reality around us. Using our awareness in action, we can begin the journey of untangling our old creation, and reweave a new way of being, based in joy and a deep gratitude for the life force pouring through us.

It can be tough for a Christian with OCD to have to experience obsessive thoughts that are intrusive, scary, and difficult to manage. As a result, here is a short list of techniques that a person can use to help manage their obsessive and fearful thoughts with the help of God.

The first thing a person must do is not to dwell or focus on the fear provoking thought when it comes. The more a person tries to reason out the thought or focus on the fear behind the thought, the stronger the thought becomes. The next time you encounter an obsessive thought, get into the practice of not dwelling on it.

From my interviews with various professionals, I’ve learned that usually it is the fear behind the thoughts that gets us worked up. Ignore the fear behind these obsessive thoughts, regardless how the strong the fear may be. If you ignore the fear behind these thoughts, then the thoughts become easier to manage.

A person should visualize a red stop sign in their mind when they encounter a fear provoking thought. When the negative thought comes, a person should think of a red stop sign that serves as a reminder to stop focusing on that thought and to think of something else. A person can then try to think of something positive to replace the negative thought.

Sometimes, a person may encounter a lot of scary thoughts coming at them all at once. Instead of getting upset, remember that these thoughts are exaggerated and are not based on reality. Even if your fearful thoughts tell you otherwise, the fact is that there are circumstances and factors in every situation that can not be anticipated. We may be ninety-nine percent in predicting the future but all it takes is for that one percent to make the biggest difference.

Although I am a Layman and not a professional, I have interviewed many counselors and I learned that there are many ways to deal with these kinds of thoughts. There are ways to deal with your obsessive thoughts and with the proper treatment, you can live a productive life.

Stan Popovich is the author of “A Layman’s Guide to Managing Fear” an easy to read book that presents a overview of techniques that are effective in managing persistent fears and anxieties.

Love is the most important aspect in the life of any human being as it acts as a driving force for it develops confidence which makes a person put in his best efforts so that he can achieve success and happiness in life for himself and his loved ones. This reality makes it all the more necessary that a person should get a life partner who can be compatible with this personality traits so that both of them can offer love and support to each other. The best way to find out about the most compatible life partner is to consult the love horoscope which provides all the necessary information.

Love horoscope is available in both the Western and the Chinese astrology. Nowadays most of the people are developing confidence in all types of horoscope that is prepared by using the Chinese mode of astrological calculations as Chinese astrology takes into consideration all of the aspects that is required for preparing the horoscope of a person. Chinese love horoscope helps a person to know everything about the partner that he is going to select as companion for life. Moreover it provides all the information related to the relationship that is going to develop in the future.

The Chinese love horoscope not only predicts about the compatible aspects of both the people but also highlights the incompatible aspects amongst them which are very helpful as both the persons can develop strategies that can help them to adjust with each other easily and overcome all the odds and hurdles in their life. This is very important as this is the part of life where a person acts in the most natural way leaving aside all the formalities that he adopts while interacting with people at the workplace or anywhere outside the house.

The Chinese love horoscope is prepared on the basis of four triangles that are related to the affinity of the zodiac signs that are compatible with each other. Each triangle is formed with three zodiac signs that are compatible with each other and the triangles are named according to the main characteristics that are the reigning factors in those three zodiac signs. The whole system of preparing the Chinese love horoscope is a little complicated but the result that the horoscope provides furnishes all the important details related to the love life of a person.

The first triangle in the Chinese love horoscope is called executants which compiles of the three zodiac signs Dragon, rat and monkey. The incompatible zodiac signs are also given within this triangle like the monkey and the tiger are totally incompatible so they will never be able to adjust with each other as life partners. In the same manner the other three triangles are divided using three animal zodiac signs in each triangle.

Studies show how hard it is for people to change. Approximately 600,000 people have heart bypass surgery a year in America.

After the bypass, each of these people are told that they must change their lifestyle. The heart bypass is like a band aid, it is only a temporary fix. There has to be changes to the diet, if they smoke, it’s time to quit, if they drink its time to cut back or stop and it is essential that they exercise and reduce stress.

In other words, the doctors are saying, "Change or die."

One would think that being given this message so clearly would bring about change. It seems that any rational person would realize it’s time to change.
It would seem that such a compelling argument would make anyone realize the importance of change. Unfortunately that is not the case.

Out of all of the bypass patients, only 90 percent make the change. They just keep on trucking, living with the same bad habits. In nearly every study, it is shown that two years after surgery, the patients are not making any changes. Instead of choosing health, they choose poor health and death.

Is it possible that change is that hard?

As Christians, we are supposed to change. We are to grow, to make positive changes. Not to stagnate. As Christians, we are encouraged to make positive changes and to grow as we follow the Lord. As we grow, we need to understand and apply three simple principles:

1)My Spiritual Age Does Not Indicate My Spiritual Depth "We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again." Hebrews 5:11-12a The author was referring to the order of priests under Melchizedek and its superiority to the order of priests under. His readers had become "slow to learn" either due to spiritual laziness or neglect.

They had plenty of time to grow, but instead they chose not to and found that they wasted precious time. Instead of being teachers of the Word, they still needed teachers to explain the basics to them. The same goes for us. Are we growing, changing?

2) My Spiritual Age Should Indicate My Spiritual Diet "You need milk, not solid food! But solid food is for the mature." Hebrews 14a

The milk of the Word is for the immature while the solid food is for the mature We are not meant to live on milk forever. How is your spiritual diet? Do you study the Bible as part of your daily life? Do you share Christ world and love with others, or only keep it to yourself.

3) My Spiritual Depth Equips Me for Life’s Challenges "Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil." Hebrews 5:13-14 One thing that is for sure in life: It’s not easy. Life is tough and there are more tough times to come. To help us get through them, we need to gather discernment and practice spiritual maturity.

The Christian life is an adventure, but it’s no place for infants. How are you doing with your diet?

The author is publisher of a Christian T-Shirts store and a Christian Jewelry store.

Kali’s final dwelling place, which was the cremation ground, denotes a place where the five elements are dissolved, and is where dissolution takes place.

In terms of devotion and worship, this denotes the dissolving of attachments such as anger, lust, and other binding emotions, feelings, and ideas. The heart of the devotee is where this burning takes place, and it is in the heart that Kali dwells. The devotee makes her image in his heart and under her influence burns away all limitations and ignorance in the cremation fires. This inner cremation fire in the heart is the fire of knowledge, which Kali bestows.

The image of a recumbent Shiva lying under the feet of Kali, represents Shiva as the passive potential of creation, and Kali as his Shakti. The generic term, Shakti, denotes the universal feminine creative principle and the energizing force behind all male divinity including Shiva. Shakti is known by the general name Devi, which is from the root div that means to shine. She is the shining one, who is given different names in different places and in different appearances, as the symbol of the life giving powers of the universe.

Kali powers him. This Shakti is expressed as the I in Shiva’s name, and without this I, Shiva becomes Shva, which in Sanskrit means a corpse. This suggesting that without his Shakti, Shiva is powerless or inert. Kali is the appropriate image for conveying the idea of the world as the play of the gods. The spontaneous, effortless, dizzying creativity of the divine reflex is conveyed in her wild appearance. Kali is identified with the phenomenal world, as she presents a picture of that world that underlies its ephemeral and unpredictable nature.

In her mad dancing, disheveled hair, and eerie howl there is made present the hint of a world reeling and careening out of control. The world is created and destroyed in Kali’s wild dancing, and the truth of redemption lies in man’s awareness that he is invited to take part in that dance, to yield to the frenzied beat of the Mother’s dance of life and death. Kali and her attendants dance to rhythms pounded out by Shiva, who was the lord of destruction, and his animal headed attendants who dwell in the Himalayas.

Associated with chaos and uncontrollable destruction, Kali’s own retinue brandishes swords and holds aloft skull cups from which they drink the blood that intoxicates them. Kali, like Shiva, has a third eye, but in all other respects the two are distinguished from one another. In contrast to Shiva’s sweet expression, plump body, and ash white complexion, dark Kali’s emaciated limbs, angular gestures, and fierce grimace convey a wild intensity. Her loose hair, skull garland, and tiger wrap whip around her body as she stomps and claps to the rhythm of the dance.

Many stories describe Kali’s dance with Shiva as one that threatens to destroy the world by its savage power. Art historian, Stella Kramrisch, has noted that the image of kali dancing with Shiva follows closely the myth of the demon Daruka. When Shiva asks his wife, Parvati, to destroy this demon, she enters Shiva’s body and transforms herself from the poison that is stored in his throat. She emerges from Shiva as Kali, ferocious in appearance, and with the help of her flesh eating retinue attacks and defeats the demon.

Kali became so intoxicated by the blood lust of battle that her aroused fury and wild hunger threatened to destroy the whole world. She continued her ferocious rampage until Shiva manifested himself as an infant and lay crying in the midst of the corpse strewn field. Kali became calm as she suckled the baby. When evening approached, Shiva performed the dance of creation, which is known as the tandava, to please the goddess, and as she was delighted with the dance, Kali and her attendants joined in.

Enlightenment is essentially realizing the non-dual nature of reality and for those who understand Hindu philosophy, non-duality is Creation (Param Brahman). From there, emerges multiplicity as Creation pours out into Existence (Bhuh, Bhuvah & Swaha). But, in my view, to really grasp deeply what is meant by non-duality and enlightenment, philosophical discussion or debate is not the best approach. I think it is better understood from the point of view of experience, and I will delve into my own personal experiences with non-duality to help clarify this most profound of concepts and phenomenon.

Hinduism (Advaita Vedanta) & Non-Duality:

Non-duality is best understood in Hinduism and Advaita Vedanta by the phrase Tat Tvam Asi, or Thou Art That. The true nature of reality is that all is just you. Everything is you. It is actually how it is.

The apparent sense of separation of "me" and "you" is actually false. There is no you. There is only me, or as put forth by Advaita Vedanta, there is only "I AM". The "I" referred to here though is not the ego, but the True Self. Everything is a part of this big "I", and when awareness shifts from the egocentric "i" to the real "I", you actually see that all is just you. Then there is no duality of any kind.

Buddhism (Zen) & Non-Duality:

Buddhism looks at non-duality also as the absence of the sense of a separate ego. Simply because that is the Truth, it is not Hindu or Buddhist, it is simply the Truth. Instead of asserting that "You Are All", Zen simply stops at the negation of the false sense of separation. This sometimes helps prevent the confusion of the small "i" versus big "I" concepts in Advaita and Hinduism.

In both cases, a shift of awareness is what creates an encounter with the non-dual nature of Reality. Such a shift of awareness can produce an experience such that one encounters the emptiness or absence of the sense of separate existence. There are states where the organism continues to function, with each sense organ working perfectly, but there is no center or "i" to be found.

So in my view, Hinduism and Buddhism only differ in the nature of the non-dual experience. If you are experiencing the natural working of the organism, without any sense of separation, you are enjoying a Buddhist enlightenment experience, while if you feeling the expanded sense of the Oneness with everything, you are experiencing enlightenment from the Hindu perspective. Of course I may be over simplifying it a bit, but I think you get the idea.

At the end, it does not matter what you label it, and if you wish to argue it differently you may. The point is that the roots of non-duality lie in the absence of the sense of separation and to help you understand it all even better, let’s expand this idea of no-self even further.

Understanding Enlightenment Experiences of Non-Duality:

You will notice the common ground of non-duality, is the fact of no-self. But, above you will notice one other common denominator between the Hindu and Buddhist versions of this experience, which is that both result from a shift of awareness. From here we can formulate the following definition of enlightenment experience (non-dual experience) which I think is very valuable.

A shift of awareness outside of the ego-centric mind, produces an enlightenment experience.

Predominately, we live consumed by our little lives and little self. All the time dwelling on our personal drama and struggling for a little more pleasure and security. Those who are lucky, get a chance to experience cracks in this shell of the ego, and when that happens they get a glimpse of what lies beyond the self-obsessed mind. That experience of Reality, absent of ego-centric thought, is an enlightenment experience.

Such experiences are wide and varied and the nature of these experiences can form the basis of great philosophies and religions. Here I want to point out that the experiences do not have to always be mind-blowing to be significant. Any glimpse of the non-dual nature of Reality, is indicative of cracks in the shell of the ego and will provide the inspiration for further challenges to this apparent dualistic reality.

These non-dual (or enlightenment) experiences can range from being swept away by the enormity of the mountains, the flow of great love, the ecstasy of sexual union, to experiences with the greater sense of Self (Big Mind in Zen Meditation), Bliss, Divinity, Natural Spontaneous Living, etc. So from here I can even come to a definition of life which I am comfortable with…

Life is an opportunity to set the stage for this shift of awareness to occur.

This shift of awareness is something that happens to you. It can be understood simply as a reward for doing your spiritual practice sincerely. This is echoed by great spiritual masters throughout history.

Enlightenment, or the necessary shift in awareness, is not something you can force or create in any way. What you can do though, is help set the stage to facilitate it’s occurrence. This is where meditation, yoga, self-study and spiritual living comes in. They are the tools for preparing the soil such that the flower of Truth can blossom.

Psychics and mediums provide a venue for individuals to explore the spiritual world beyond our five senses. Utilizing innate abilities that allow them to gain insight into the invisible dimension that surrounds us. This ether realm filled with spirits and entities is unseen by most. It exists juxtapose to our own physical realm and interacts with it on many levels.

The subtle and not so subtle influence this mystical realm has on our own physical dimension has been the source of speculation and mysticism for humanity through out the ages. The ability for a psychic or spiritualist to discern the intent and motives of these forces, in our every day lives, has long been a source of conflict and controversy through out human history.

Sometimes labeled as heretics, witches, or charlatans the spiritually gifted have been persecuted by the general public because of their differences. Although, some societies and cultures do embrace spiritualists most western cultures find them to be annoying subsets of the community on the fringes of normalcy.

Understanding the spiritual world around us is integral to understanding our own purpose in life. Without the help and guidance of an individual that truly has insight and clarity on the factors influencing our lives from the spiritual realm we truly are like "blind men in a dark room looking for a black cat that does not exist".

Consulting a psychic, spiritualist, or medium is easy and well worth the time and small expense required to gain insight into your fate and destiny. Some services offer a convenient way to interact with trusted world-renowned psychics online without the fear of social stigma one might expect if caught walking out of their local palm-reading parlor.

Online service providers also offer a variety of communicative methods. Some utilize video chat for a more personal experience, some use E-mail services, and others use telephone services. Depending on your personal preferences one of the services may just cater to your specific needs. Many psychic service providers even offer a free consultation so you can actually try the service before you buy it.

While some consult astrologers or psychics on a daily basis others may infrequently speak with their spiritual advisor. There is no right or wrong way to utilize your spiritual advisor as all people are different and have different needs.

However, with that said never speaking to a spiritual advisor or at the very least having your astrological natal chart done would be a true shame. Life is full of mystical and magical experiences why risk losing out on any of them because you were to jaded to try and understand the true factors influencing the world we live in.

Why not suspend your disbelief and set aside your social predisposition to psychic readings and try one today? You may just find the answers you have been seeking that seem to elude you no matter how hard you try to find them. Consult a psychic today and try a free psychic reading online. You may just find out how the spiritual realm is affecting your life.

This opening of the heart causes grace to flow in many unexpected ways as we recognize the abundance and oneness that comes from knowing there is more than enough to give, not just receive.

“Imagine for a moment what will happen to our world as more of us start giving without wanting anything back in return. Picture a world filled with love and compassion and people are helping each other for no reason—a world where everyone has more then enough. The possibilities are endless and easily within our reach. Positive change begins with you. Start practicing giving today and notice what happens.” – Hale Dwoskin

Giving has been called the First Law of All Creation. It has also been said that there is a Universal Law of Giving and Receiving, or that giving and receiving are the same. To clarify, quoting Kathleen Rainbow, “For anything to function effectively, there needs to be some kind of structure. There are laws that govern our universe called Universal Laws. These laws apply to everything, everywhere at all times in our universe. These laws enable our universe to function in an orderly fashion. Without these laws there would be chaos in the universe. By studying, understanding, cooperating, and applying these Universal Laws in our daily lives we can lead the most successful, fulfilling, abundant, joyful and healthy life possible.”

In today’s modern society, human consciousness is awakening to a primary law governing the creation of abundance; ‘Giving and Receiving are one and the same. To give is to receive. To receive is to give.’ A conviction of universal oneness remains at the heart of this thought system, thus when we give, we do not lose what we give, rather, we receive more of what we give. Lester Levenson, the inspiration behind The Sedona Method, used to say, “In the end, you discover that the only one you have ever helped is you.” So when we give peace, we receive more peace. When we give money, we receive more money. And when we give love, we receive more love. When we accept as a core belief that giving and receiving are the same, we thrive.

Whenever we give with no expectation of receiving something back in return, we are allowing the energy of the universe to flow naturally and powerfully, coming back to us many times over and in many ways. But when a gift is given to acquire something, this is really barter and similar to commerce. This attention on receiving, or getting something back, creates unseen blocks or resistance to receiving. An attitude of “getting” creates a blocked-up condition, a paralyzed state. As long as we maintain a desire for “getting” and an attitude of “getting,” we shut out the spirit of giving, and this limits the flow of good that can come to us. When we are truly giving, we are not eager for of any type of payback. If we simply give to get, we cause the flow to stop. When we give from the heart and with no expectations, we will receive much more.

It was once pointed out to me that, ‘In Philippians 4:15-19, Paul speaks to the church about the power and benefits of giving and receiving, telling them that this financial would be like opening up a debit and credit account for each of them, creating an open door for God almighty to meet every need that they have.’

And the School of Metaphysics shares, ‘Life is a series of moments. The quality of your life is totally determined by the choices you make in how you spend your time. To give a gift signifies time well spent. It is effort well spent that returns to us many fold in the spirit with which the gift was given. This is according to Universal Law.’

We can see from these two poles apart, cultural viewpoints that the common thread expressed is that giving opens up the door to receiving. When we give and expect nothing in return, the Universal Law of Giving and Receiving allows us to receive something in return when we are giving via a constant exchange of energy between us and the universe. This vibrant energy defines one beautiful truth of our existence.

From ancient times, people have used Magick to make their dreams come true. Many of those attracted to Wicca are people who have been rejected by someone they love or loners who would like to teach someone a lesson. However, Magick is not a weapon of revenge.

An earnest practitioner wishing to use their internal powers to live a happy, fulfilling life should heed the words of caution defined by the three-fold-law of Wicca. This law reminds people that for every action we take, there will be an opposite reaction. If we have pure, healthy, unselfish intentions, we will get double or triple the joy in return. However, if we take the time to consider the feedback from nature before we attempt to create our spells, we may be saving ourselves from a lot of trouble in the future.

Energy is what runs the world. The energy that courses through our veins creates our reality, our life. The trees and other vegetation, the Earth, the rivers, the planets, etc are all made up of the same matter that human beings are made up of. We are created from the dust of the earth and we return to the dust of the Earth when we die.

When we work a spell, we set in motion a cycle of creativity that eventually returns to us. If we create joy for others, then the cycle of energy returns joy back into our lives. If, on the other hand, we create sorrow for anyone else, lo and behold, we will see that our life is full of unfortunate incidents which makes us think "Why me?"

Although I don’t agree that "White" means good and Black exemplifies bad, the term White Magick is usually used to define Magick that is beneficial and which uses positive energy. Black Magick is the term used for Magick in which the end result is negative or hurtful to another.

As we know, Black Magick, since it is magick that hurts another, will certainly return misfortune into our lives. Sometimes it is easy to know if our spell will hurt someone. In that case, by all means, avoid it.

However, there are other times when we mean well and yet we create karmic debt. An example of this is when we work a spell to attract a particular person into our life. What if someone else loves this same person and by working the spell we are creating a separation between them? That would certainly bring us sorrow in the future.

Horoscopes are the metaphoric representations of zodiacs. An astrologer’s diagram of the relative position of planets, stars and other such celestial entities and the prediction of incidents which are based on these astrological calculations is known as a horoscope.

A horoscope is an astrological chart that indicates the placement/location/positioning of the SEVEN PLANETS OF ANTIQUITY, in the way they are related to each other and the earth and in the cosmos, at a certain time.

Popularity is the other name of horoscopes and everyday millions and millions of individuals, scattered throughout the world, cast a glance at their free horoscopes in order to know what their fate has decreed. You can avail yourself of annual, monthly, weekly and daily varieties of free horoscopes.

Magazines, newspapers, and free astrology websites are a good source of getting hold of your free horoscope. Human beings have this unquenchable thirst to have knowledge about the future and what fate has pre-ordained for them.

This is the secret of the popularity of horoscopes since ancient times. You need to submit the exact time, date and place of your birth to the free astrology websites to get an accurate free horoscope.
